Plan and carry out basic science experiments in class and at home. 5. Learn about variables in a science experiment and apply to your own work.
1. Most students out today for Constitution Day...remaining students will rotate through my room for about an hour.
2. During that time, we will get in groups and work on a Design Challenge where students will choose from a random group of items. With the items, they will make up their own experiment, perform the experiment, collect data, graph it and identify the variables. If they have time, they will do two experiments. Homework:
